If there’s anything I love more than capturing love stories, it’s being part of the moment that starts a new chapter, the proposal! And this one was amazing. Hunter and Maddie recently got engaged at the stunning Washington Oaks and Gardens State Park in Palm Coast, Florida. The beauty of the park provided the perfect backdrop for Hunter and Maddie’s intimate proposal. Everything from the willow trees to the little cute pond and then the epic beach afterwards made for the perfect backdrop on this super special occasion!

Maddie & Hunter Intimate Proposal

Hunter and Maddie have been dating for a while now, and Hunter knew it was time to take the next big step. He wanted to make the proposal perfect for Maddie, who absolutely deserves the world! And I was so happy when Hunter chose me to capture this precious moment. He gets his haircut by my husband Justin, and when he mentioned his plan, Justin knew I would be the perfect person for the job. Proposals are my jam! The planning was intense. Hunter and I had several phone calls, discussing the perfect location, the right time, and how to make it all a beautiful surprise for Maddie. We finally decided on Washington Oaks and Gardens State Park – the perfect romantic backdrop for an unforgettable proposal.

The day finally arrived, and I could feel the excitement in the air. Hunter called me, sounding super nervous, and asked, “Which leg do I kneel on?” It was so cute! He wanted everything to be perfect! Remember, it doesn’t matter which leg you kneel on, what matters is that the ring goes on the LEFT hand! It was an intimate, emotional moment, and I was honored to capture it. Maddie was so surprised and overjoyed. But the magic didn’t end there! Post-proposal, we headed towards the beach for a fun and relaxed photoshoot. Running around the shore, we captured some incredible shots that perfectly encapsulated their love and happiness. Maddie even wore one of the dresses from my client’s closet for the beach photos, since she wasn’t expecting a photoshoot that day. She looked stunning!

As I drove back home after the session, my phone rang. It was Maddie and Hunter, calling to express their appreciation and share how much fun they had during the shoot. I was over the moon!
