Let me tell you about a romantic beach engagement session I did with the lovely couple, Katie and Ethan, in St. Augustine, FL. Oh, and here’s the best part – all my wedding packages come with a complimentary engagement session. How great is that?! So, Katie and I go way back, all the way to high school. A couple of years ago, she contacted me about taking some photos of her and Ethan, her boyfriend back then. We had a great time, and the photos turned out wonderful! Fast-forward a few months, Ethan proposed! And guess who got the first call? That’s right – me! They wanted me to photograph their wedding, and of course, I said yes!

Now, here’s a little fact – all my wedding packages come with a free engagement session. You heard that right! Not only that, I include travel within 250 miles of where I’m located. And let’s not forget about my client closet, it’s a collection of gorgeous dresses for clients to wear during their photoshoots. Katie wore one of those dresses during our session at the beach, and she looked stunning! Engagement sessions are a fantastic way to get to know your photographer and understand their work style before the big day. It’s one of the reasons why I love to include them in my packages. They’re fun, relaxed, and an excellent opportunity for creating memories.

Katie was totally in love with the first dress she wore – it gave off some serious ‘runaway pirate bride’ vibes, which was perfect because both Katie and Ethan are beach lovers and avid boaters. That’s why they chose the boat dock in St. Augustine for their photoshoot. After we wrapped up at the dock, we headed over to their condo, which has private beach access. Here, Katie changed into a dress from my client’s closet, and let me tell you, she looked amazing!
