Marissa and her beautiful baby girl, Arabella, chose me to capture their session and I was so honored!! IT was such a beautiful spring photoshoot. The experience truly brought to light an important topic that I believe deserves more attention: moms need to be in front of the camera, too! Often, after the arrival of a new baby, moms tend to take a backseat and focus their energy on capturing sweet moments of their newborn with grandparents, dads, aunts, and the like. They’re usually the ones behind the camera, making sure everyone else gets a turn to shine with the new bundle of joy. But what about mom? She deserves to be in the spotlight as well, to feel beautiful, and to have those precious, high-quality photos with her new baby. This is an experience as unique and fleeting as the newborn stage itself, and it’s just as important to capture!

Colorful Spring Photoshoot

During our session, Marissa was the example of a radiant new mother. Arabella, the sweetest, most quiet baby ever, seemed to love being in front of the camera, and together, they created some truly heartwarming moments. It was a joy to witness their bond and to capture these special memories for them! A special feature of our session was the dress that Marissa chose from my client’s closet. Dressed in an elegant White Ivory Dress, Marissa looked as stunning as ever. It was a representation of the fact that, yes, moms should feel beautiful, too, during these photoshoots!
