When you’re a wedding photographer, every wedding is special. But Jacob and Chandler’s elegant wedding day was something truly unique. Not only was it a beautiful celebration of their love, but it was also an opportunity for me to showcase my passion for capturing such special moments and also to provide them with the best experience on such an important day in their lives! Every detail at their wedding was a true reflection of who they were as a couple. It was a day full of love, laughter, and joy.  

Timeless and Elegant Wedding Day

The day started at Soto Supreme Barber Shop, where the groom and his groomsmen were getting ready. This wasn’t just any barbershop – it’s connected to The Blanche, an iconic building in our town, and the perfect backdrop for the groomsmen photos. But what made this part of the day even more special was that the man behind the clippers was none other than my own husband, Justin, also known as Belk Blendz. Seeing him work his magic on the groomsmen, including the groom himself, and capturing those moments was a joy.

Afterward, I headed over to Jacob and Chandler’s new house. They had only bought it a few weeks before the wedding, and you could still feel the excitement and love in the air. Chandler and her bridesmaids were getting ready, and as I took photos, I could see the anticipation building. At one point, surrounded by her bridesmaids, Chandler whispered to me, “I think it’s finally hitting me and I’m about to start crying.” It was a beautiful, raw moment, one of many that day. The reception was a blast! Chandler is a huge Taylor Swift fan, so you can bet we were all jamming out to T-Swift’s songs (Taylor’s Version only, of course!). Seeing everyone let loose, dancing and singing along, was a delight. The energy in the room was palpable, and I loved being able to capture those moments.
