I had the best time capturing a romantic beach proposal for an amazing couple, Harrison and Autumn! This session was not just an ordinary one. Autumn had initially booked me for a regular couple’s session, little did she know that Harrison and I were secretly working together to make this session a memorable proposal! The beautiful Vilano Beach, FL provided the perfect backdrop. Autumn was stunning in a dress from my client’s closet. The dress fit her like a glove, she looked like a beach goddess. Harrison had reached out to me about 2-3 weeks prior to the session, sharing his plans to propose. He was unsure about how to go about it and wanted it to be unique and special, not the cliché down-on-one-knee proposal. I was thrilled and told him, “HECK YES!!”

Romantic Beach Proposal

We came up with the plan. I would give him a queue during the session, signaling that it was the perfect moment to pop the question. Instead of the traditional proposal style, I suggested Harrison look into Autumn’s eyes, express his love, tell her what she means to him, and when he feels ready, pull out the ring and ask her the big question. When the day came, everything fell into place perfectly. As I gave Harrison the queue, he took Autumn by the hand, looked deep into her eyes, and started to express his heartfelt feelings. He told her how much she meant to him, and how much he loved her. When he finally pulled out the ring and asked, “Will you marry me?” Autumn was taken by surprise. She couldn’t hold back her tears. It was an emotional and beautiful moment.

This proposal turned out to be more than just a photoshoot. It was an honor to be part of such a significant milestone in their lives. Their joy and love were palpable, making these photos incredibly special. Each photo captured their love story beautifully. The couple loved their photos so much that they decided to book me for their wedding in September!
