Just recently, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Wesley and Madison Blakely’s one-year wedding anniversary photoshoot. Now, you might not know this about me, but I LOVE anniversary shoots. I mean, my husband and I did one too!!! And, it was the best experience, ever! There’s something so special about celebrating the love that’s grown and deepened over a year. This particular session was even more special. We shot at Cades Cove, Tennessee – a place that holds a lot of memories for the Blakely’s. It was right here, amongst the beauty of Cades Cove, where Wesley got down on one knee and proposed to Madison in 2021. So, for their one-year anniversary, it only made sense to return to the spot that started their forever journey!

But wait, the nostalgia doesn’t stop there! Madison brought along her wedding dress. The sight of her in her wedding gown against the backdrop of Cades Cove was nothing short of magical. Now, let’s talk about the vibe of the session. Picture a vintage, filmy anniversary shoot. That’s exactly what we were going for. And boy, did it deliver! The Blakely’s wanted their photos to be a true reflection of their relationship – adventurous, fun, whimsical, and just a dash of spicy. And that’s exactly what we captured! Throughout the session, you could genuinely feel the love between Madison and Wesley. The way they looked at each other, the quiet moments, the laughter – it was all a beautiful testament to the bond they’ve built over the past year.
