I’m SO happy to share this beautiful love story with all of you! It truly was one for the books!! I had the absolute honor of capturing a magical beach proposal for a couple who are so incredibly special to me and my husband – Caidence and Bronsen. This proposal took place in the beautiful Anna Maria Island, Florida. And the memories of that day will forever be engraved in my heart! Caidence and Bronsen aren’t just any couple. They’re family friends that we’ve practically seen grow up. We’ve been there for their Prom photos, and their Senior photos, and now, I had the privilege of being there to capture their proposal. It was such an emotional and heartwarming experience!! Come see the magic that we created together and get inspired for your beach proposal!

Adventurous Beach Proposal in Florida

Their love story is the kind of tale that could easily be turned into a cheesy rom-com. They’ve been together since high school, mirroring the same high school sweetheart story that Bronsen’s parents share. He’s the star quarterback, and she’s the sweetest girl you could ever meet. Their love for each other is palpable and inspiring! The weekend of the proposal was a swirl of emotions and travel! The day before the proposal, I was shooting a wedding in Vero Beach, FL. For those that don’t know, Vero Beach and Anna Maria Island are on completely opposite sides of Florida! It was a crazy journey, driving 5 hours to Vero, then another 4 hours to Anna Maria, and finally 4 hours back home. Despite the hectic schedule, there was no way I was missing this moment!!

This Day = A Beautifully Planned Proposal At The Beach

As I reached the location, my heart sank because it looked like a storm was about to hit and it was lightly raining. I was stressed, to say the least. But, my husband and I did the only thing we could do – we prayed. Miraculously, a minute later, the storm clouds started clearing. The transformation was nothing short of insane. The entire proposal was meticulously planned by Bronsen! He shared his location with me, so I knew exactly when they would arrive. But here’s the fun part: he had this ongoing joke where he would pretend to propose to Caidence while recording it on his phone. And, she used to be annoyed by it, understandably so. But this time, it was for real! She had no idea what was coming, and her reaction was priceless. It was pure, unadulterated joy. I can’t tell you how many tears I shed.

Capturing Caidence and Bronsen’s proposal has been one of the highlights of my career. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and a fair share of happy tears. I’m so grateful to have been a part of their journey and can’t wait to see where life takes them next! And, I am so beyond excited to be capturing their wedding day in June of 2024 in Billings, Montana where they currently live!! Being able to see them say their I Do’s is going to be so special knowing that I have had the honor of being a part of their proposal. I can’t wait!
